Bluesky Better Video and Volume controls

SUMMARY

This is a FIX for devices that dont show the volume slider, a solutions is WIP in GitHub (https://github.com/bluesky-social/social-app/pull/5919)

Save your desired volume and unmute videos automatically when hovering over them, once you hover video is unmuted until you scroll and hide the video.

Version 1.0
- Hides Bluesky's video controls
- Shows native video controls (browser-based)
- Stores video volume set by user and applies it to all videos
- Unmutes when mouse is moved over the video so you can watch videos in feed without unmuting each video.

There are no screenshots that show how the extension works, it just does, watch the video preview.

The latest version of Bluesky Better Video and Volume controls is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 0 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-11-25.

HOW TO INSTALL Bluesky Better Video and Volume controls FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Bluesky Better Video and Volume controls CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
