Backspace for Navigation

SUMMARY

The original extension to bring back the Backspace key shortcut as navigation for history.back() (backspace) and history.forward() (shift+backspace). Supports blacklisting of pages, recognizes input fields and works on Linux, OSX and Windows. Version 3.2.0 integrates the missing migration of exceptions from versions <3.x.x

The latest version of Backspace for Navigation is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 3,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-07-14.

HOW TO INSTALL Backspace for Navigation FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Backspace for Navigation CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
