Eye Easer

SUMMARY

Popup that appears on screen every 20 minutes to remind you to look away from your screen and relax your eyes. This extension uses the "20-20-20" rule - look 20 feet away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes. Studies show that staring at a screen for prolonged periods of time can cause myopia (nearsightedness) or worsen existing myopia. This extension will remind you to take a break.

The latest version of Eye Easer is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 3 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-10-06.

HOW TO INSTALL Eye Easer FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Eye Easer CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
