SUMMARY

The AMP Project is all about improving the reading experience on mobile devices but it's not a technology limited to mobile. This Chrome Extension gives desktop users the same benefits and is controlled by them. You set which pages, which domains you want to see AMP versions on. By default any time we find an AMP version we'll show it instead of the original page but you can set up your own preferences.

The latest version of AMP Accelerated Mobile Page Reader is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 551 active users. The initial version was launched on 2015-10-18.

HOW TO INSTALL AMP Accelerated Mobile Page Reader FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download AMP Accelerated Mobile Page Reader CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
