SUMMARY

This is a chrome extension that allows you to search the text of a page using regular expressions. Please note that because of the way web pages are written, it is very difficult to make this extension work on 100% of pages. If you have any problems, please report them on the Github issues page: https://github.com/gsingh93/regex-search/issues. Please DO NOT try to test this extension on any URL beginning with chrome.google.com/webstore. It will NOT work. The latest version of Regex Search is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 6,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-03-03.

HOW TO INSTALL Regex Search FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Regex Search CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
