Omnimed-QHR authenticator

SUMMARY

This extension allows healthcare workers from the province of Quebec to get securely authenticated with the Quebec Health Record (QHR) access device. It communicates with a native application to validate this secure access. The native application needs to be installed beforehand by a trusted administrator. Omnimed web pages will then be able to communicate with it.

The latest version of Omnimed-QHR authenticator is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 40,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-02-02.

HOW TO INSTALL Omnimed-QHR authenticator FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Omnimed-QHR authenticator CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
