SUMMARY

WordPress has an excellent feature, where pasting a URL onto selected text will automatically transform that text into a link.

Now you can do it everywhere!

This supports HTML, Markdown, BBcode, Remarkup, and Trac-style links. On most sites, it will create HTML links, unless it's listed here:

The latest version of Linkify is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 114 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-11-21.

HOW TO INSTALL Linkify FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Linkify CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
