Without this extension, copying a link's text is sometimes a bit of an art form. You have to highlight the link to copy the text, which usually involves copying the text around it.

This extension allows you to simply right-click on the link and copy the link text. It even supports links in Jira.

The latest version of Copy link text is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-06-15.

HOW TO INSTALL Copy link text FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Copy link text CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
