Ever wanted to visit a website but it's not available? Whether it's either offline or the website is currently broken, it can be frustrating if the content is not available. To avoid issues like this, there is a class of services that have sprung up which save copies of websites and allow you to visit them again later.

Archive.ph (aka archive.today) and the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine are two such services.

Use this extension to help prevent link rot and allow others to view archived versions of pages!

The latest version of Archive Webpage is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-04-04.

HOW TO INSTALL Archive Webpage FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Archive Webpage CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
