ScamCheck is de Nederlandse versie van een tool die ontwikkeld is door ScamAdviser. Deze tool is te benaderen via Veiliginternetten.nl en is in Nederland een initiatief van ECP | Platform voor de InformatieSamenleving en Thuiswinkel.org. Door deze tool in Nederland beschikbaar te maken zorgen we gezamenlijk voor een veiliger internet.

The latest version of ScamCheck is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 95 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-06-12.

HOW TO INSTALL ScamCheck FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download ScamCheck CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
