Force Enable Text Selection

SUMMARY

This extension re-enables the ability to select text that has been disabled via CSS using the "user-select" property. I made this extension because Chegg Homework disables the text-selection ability for no reason that I can understand. This extension will allow you to select the text in the Homework Help section of their website and anywhere else that this feature has been disabled. This extension does not enable text selection for websites that have disabled text selection via javascript. I am, however, happy to look into adding this ability if there is a need for it. <3

The latest version of Force Enable Text Selection is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 10,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-02-20.

HOW TO INSTALL Force Enable Text Selection FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Force Enable Text Selection CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
