A/B player

SUMMARY

With this extension, you can loop sections of audio on supported services. This is a really useful tool if you are a musician and want to play along songs you found on your favorite music/video streaming service. With keyboard shortcuts, it is easy to mark in and out audio. Two markers (A and B) can be placed at current playhead position when you need. You can also change the playback speed down to 0.2x and up to 5x. This is not available for example on YouTube. Also it is generally not possible to download music from streaming sevices directly to your computer but with the help of web players of these services, it is possible to do music training using the browser. The latest version of A/B player is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-07-04.

HOW TO INSTALL A/B player FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download A/B player CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
