CLS Checker - Journey Further

SUMMARY

This tool measures the 'cumulative layout shifts' that occur when a page is loaded in the browser using data from the Chrome Performance API. These are then listed showing the 'layout shift' score and visualised on the webpage. Green squares show where the element started and red indicates where the element was shifted to.

The latest version of CLS Checker - Journey Further is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 6,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-03-16.

HOW TO INSTALL CLS Checker - Journey Further FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download CLS Checker - Journey Further CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
