NewTab Color Void is a bare-bones extension that replaces the default new tab window with a single-color (customizable in options) screen. Requires no permissions from the user; doesn't have access to browsing information, Chrome tabs, or anything else.

HOW TO INSTALL NewTab Color Void FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download NewTab Color Void CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
