This extension offers the ability to quickly enable or disable pixel-perfect image rendering to maintain sharp pixels when zooming in. It is comparable to the nearest-neighbor interpolation option in most graphics programs. Supports images on websites and individual image files opened in Chrome (local and web). To enable for local files, activate the "Allow access to file URLs" option in the extension settings. *Note: Not supported for images on the Chrome Web Store or in Chrome settings menus.

The latest version of Pixelate is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 672 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-01-04.

HOW TO INSTALL Pixelate FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Pixelate CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
