SUMMARY

Highlight an unknown drug name with your cursor, and press the shortcut buttons (Windows: ALT+P, Mac: CMD-SHIFT-P) to get the drug's other name, the drug class, and what it may treat. It uses National Institute of Health's NCBI API, so it includes over 100s of drugs with quick response time. Useful for web surfers to pharmacologist students. Click extension to get recently searched drugs.

The latest version of Pocket Pharmacist is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 125 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-02-05.

HOW TO INSTALL Pocket Pharmacist FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Pocket Pharmacist CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
