SUMMARY

this is currently still a demo project, it aims for storing dialogue and retrieving dialogue from the database, which makes gpt has a "long term memory". For more information, please refer to: https://github.com/txff99/gptJournal
* it only works on chatgpt.com
* it uses a public database that contains a public dialogue dataset
* by clicking "ask from Journal", it will parse the text in prompt input and retrieve relevant dialogue from db
* by clicking "store dialogue", it will parse all dialogues from current window and send them to db (please don't send too many data or send it multiple times, currently we are still unable to avoid repetition)

The ChatGPT Journal extension was removed from the Chrome Web Store on 2024-09-16. At the time of removal, it had 3 users. The initial version was launched on 2024-08-30.

HOW TO INSTALL ChatGPT Journal FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download ChatGPT Journal CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
