Add URL to page title

SUMMARY

This put the URL of any web page you're on into the page title in the format: Original Title |url:[http://www.the-url.com] But why? In Chrome, other applications used to be able to use Chrome_OmniboxView to get the URL of the page you are on. Since version 28, you can no longer do this. However, you can still get the title of the window. This simple Chrome extension puts the URL into the title to make it available to other applications.

The latest version of Add URL to page title is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 639 active users. The initial version was launched on 2013-09-17.

HOW TO INSTALL Add URL to page title FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Add URL to page title CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
