Also, to clarify, the extension does not collect any of your data. It uses the storage function to save your selected colour mode on the extension, or if you have it disabled, so the next time you come to classroom your settings are saved and reapplied. This extension will transform your Google Classroom to a way cooler dark version. It is fully functional, but may have areas that were untouched and are being worked on currently. All the code used for the dark mode is original, therefore there will be bugs and areas that are not the correct colour, style, etc. Please let me know if there is something that is does not look visually correct.

The latest version of Google Classroom Dark Mode is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 40,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-05-01.

HOW TO INSTALL Google Classroom Dark Mode FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Google Classroom Dark Mode CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
