They can help you enjoy the moment and forget all that negative energy. Jokes are scientifically proven to help us take our minds off things and cope. That’s why we developed Joqe! Joqe is a chrome-extension that generates jokes for the user with the press of a button! Our chrome extension also caters to a wide audience by having various joke genres, making it enjoyable to all! Joqe will be able to provide you temporary relief and improve your state of mind, but also in a way that will not cause you to be distracted from your tasks. For example, trying to go on your phone for a short while as a break might seem good, however, you can get easily addicted and fall off track. However, Joqe can provide that brief break from work without the unnecessary distraction. Joqe uses a API that generates a random joke, or in the case that you want a certain joke category, you can select a genre of humour or even search for specific words you want jokes about!

The latest version of joqe is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 14 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-09-20.

HOW TO INSTALL joqe FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download joqe CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
