No data is collected since the business model is centered around sharing excess bandwidth when you are not using it. So keeping MyGiveback's tab open does not affect your device connectivity or battery life.

You can close the tab for a particular browsing session or decide to opt-out at any time from the settings page that you can reach from the extension.

In order to guarantee full transparency anyone can watch the donations raised and the receipts of the donations sent to the supported non profit from the dashboard page from the website.

HOW TO INSTALL MyGiveback FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download MyGiveback CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
