HnUserNotes

SUMMARY

This extension allows you to write small text notes against users on HN. This can help remember folks you've interacted with, or folks who've inspired you in the past with their comments, and can give some very personal context to some comments. This is something I wanted for myself multiple times when reading HN, so I sat down and built it. Its very simple, bare-bones, and non-fancy, and I intend to keep it that way. The latest version of HnUserNotes is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 0 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-09-11.

HOW TO INSTALL HnUserNotes FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download HnUserNotes CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
