Dark Mode

SUMMARY

This experimental extension goes through a page's CSS and looks for dark text and light colors. It then reverses the lightness of these colors. This is done by manipulating the existing CSS rules. Some hosts prohibit downloading external CSS (cors); for such pages Dark Mode might not work properly. For support reach out to dark-mode@nann.in.

The latest version of Dark Mode is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 0 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-06-01.

HOW TO INSTALL Dark Mode FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Dark Mode CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
