Minitime

SUMMARY

Minitime is a Chromium-based browser extension for minimal and customizable new tabs. Almost every element on the page is customizable and you can hide them completely if you wish. On the new tab page, Minitime shows, time date, calendar with three months preview, weather, motivational quotes and most visited sites. You can freely change the background image at any time with customizable topic. Background refreshes itself daily and weather refreshes itself hourly. For the ones who do not like image backgrounds, the background can be set to dark. Weather, date and calendar came in 5 different languages: English, French, Turkish, Spanish, and German. Different date formats or fonts can be selected. Minitime does not collect any data.

The latest version of Minitime is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 4 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-09-23.

HOW TO INSTALL Minitime FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Minitime CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
