SUMMARY

Close Tab lets you close a web page in a snap with a right mouse click and a key press. This is often quicker than moving the mouse cursor up to the tab's close icon or taking your hand off the mouse to use a keyboard shortcut that requires both hands. The shortcut key that closes the tab is customizable.

The latest version of Close Tab is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-05-09.

HOW TO INSTALL Close Tab FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Close Tab CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
