SUMMARY

After selecting some text, you can click the icon on the browser Toolbar, or choose 'Remove Selection' in the right-click Menu. I wrote it because it was one of the feature in FastestFox for Firefox and I love it, but did not find a good alternative in Chrome.

The latest version of Remove Selection is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 144 active users. The initial version was launched on 2017-08-09.

HOW TO INSTALL Remove Selection FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Remove Selection CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
