SUMMARY

PrivacySaferII is a web extension which is implemented under the CyberSafety project. Its target audience is high school students, their parents, and guardians. You can use PrivacySaferII to limit the collection of sensitive and personal data from various web applications based on your preferences and choices. The extension can protect the privacy of each child from the potential dangers regarding access to personal data.

The PrivacySaferIII extension was removed from the Chrome Web Store on 2024-04-26. At the time of removal, it had 4 users. The initial version was launched on 2021-01-31.

HOW TO INSTALL PrivacySaferIII FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download PrivacySaferIII CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
