SUMMARY

Omnifriend caches a list of social contacts from Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Steam, Reddit and more. You can then search from Chrome's omnibox (or from the dedicated search page) to instantly find and open profile pages. The extension gathers links to friends based on the currently logged in user, so no site-specific app permissions are needed. The latest version of Omnifriend is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 420 active users. The initial version was launched on 2016-03-07.

HOW TO INSTALL Omnifriend FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Omnifriend CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
