SUMMARY

Early on, Google had an advanced search feature easily available from any search results page, allowing one to easily refine their search. Since then, they've incorporated a lot of inline shortcuts to allow one to perform much of the same funtionality, though much is still missing. At some point, the advanced search options button was moved inside the settings menu with the gear icon. After several years of believing Google had just completely gotten rid of the advanced search page, I found it had been hiding in this menu. This extension re adds the Advanced Search button to the toolbar to make it more easily accessible.

The latest version of Google Advanced Search is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 85 active users. The initial version was launched on 2022-11-01.

HOW TO INSTALL Google Advanced Search FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Google Advanced Search CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
