chrome-pass (ZX2C4)

SUMMARY

Simple extension to integrate pass - the standard Unix password manager - with chrome. IMPORTANT: 1. This plugin requires the chrome-pass python package installed on your machine. 2. You must also have the unix password manager (pass) installed and your password store located at $HOME/.password-store. 3. Chrome version 107 or later. To install the chrome-pass python package in Ubuntu: sudo apt-get install python3 python3-pip pip3 install chrome-pass=0.5.1 --user

The latest version of chrome-pass (ZX2C4) is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 750 active users. The initial version was launched on 2018-02-19.

HOW TO INSTALL chrome-pass (ZX2C4) FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download chrome-pass (ZX2C4) CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
