SUMMARY

This Chrome extension uses GPT to provide instant, intelligent summaries of any selected text. Built with [Plasmo](https://docs.plasmo.com/) and powered by OpenAI's GPT models.

You put your OpenAI API key in, it gets stored locally, then right click on any text in the browser and use "Get the Gist of It" to summarize it.

HOW TO INSTALL The Gist of It FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download The Gist of It CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
