Mosh

SUMMARY

Install Mosh on your remote server (http://mosh.mit.edu) to use this app. Mosh for Chrome is especially useful for Chrome OS users.

Mosh provides a remote terminal session similar to ssh, but is tolerant of network issues such as latency, disconnections, and moving from one network to another. You can leave Mosh running all the time, even while your laptop is in standby, and expect your session to persist.

The latest version of Mosh is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 10,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2017-01-20.

HOW TO INSTALL Mosh FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Mosh CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
