Selection to Markdown Link

SUMMARY

Chrome extension to copy selection and a link in Markdown. Click the extension icon or press the keyboard shortcut to copy link in Markdown format. Select the text before copying to change the tab title in the link to the selected text instead. The default keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + Shift + C (Cmd + Shift + C for macOS). This can be changed from the browser's extension settings.

The latest version of Selection to Markdown Link is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 29 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-12-27.

HOW TO INSTALL Selection to Markdown Link FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Selection to Markdown Link CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
