SUMMARY

This extension replaces Chrome's New Tab page with a minimalist version which shows a blank white page and an imitation of the Bookmarks Bar. To recover the default New Tab page, simply remove the extension.

The latest version of New Tab is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 30,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2018-11-08.

HOW TO INSTALL New Tab FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download New Tab CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
