SUMMARY

This extension transforms your cursor into a magnifying glass, enlarging the current object beneath it. You can adjust the size of the lens and the scaling value through the right-click context menu over the action button. To turn off the magnification and revert to the default cursor, use the left-click or the Escape key on your keyboard. When the extension is active, the action button appears red; when it is inactive, the color is blue.

The latest version of Magnifying Glass is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-12-28.

HOW TO INSTALL Magnifying Glass FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Magnifying Glass CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
