# Simple Hotkeys
A lightweight Chrome extension for enhancing existing Chrome hotkeys.

While there are a plenty of extensions giving users a variety of configurations for shortcuts/hotkeys, the ideas behind this application are
- lightweight
- preconfigured
- intuitively
- simple


## Features
- Search text in new tab and switch to it: `Ctrl/Command(⌘) + Shift(⇧) + k`
- Search text in new tab in background: `Ctrl/Command(⌘) + Shift(⇧) + l`
- Pin/Unpin current tab: `Ctrl/Command(⌘) + Shift(⇧) + p`
- Detach current tab to a new window: no default
- Navigate to last active tab: `Ctrl/Command(⌘) + Shift(⇧) + e`

`Command(⌘)` is replaced with `Ctrl` key for Windows computers.

The latest version of Simple Hotkeys is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 40 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-06-16.

HOW TO INSTALL Simple Hotkeys FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Simple Hotkeys CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
