SUMMARY

Do you find yourself getting hooked by Youtube's recommended and related videos, but you don't want to deprive yourself completely of Youtube?
This extension still lets you search and play videos, but hides the parts of Youtube that are unneeded and addictive: the front page recommendation feed, the related videos in the sidebar and end screen, and the comments.

The latest version of Youtube UnHooked is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 10,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-07-04.

HOW TO INSTALL Youtube UnHooked FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Youtube UnHooked CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
