???? Heads Up: I worked on this project in my initial days just to learn extension development. It's time to call it a day. The functionality it offered is now a default feature in the Chrome browser, making this project obsolete. Unfortunately, I won't be making any more updates.


This extension helps you to quickly peek at history in the popup that helps you view, search, and delete your history without distracting you from your work. It also lets you restore your sessions across devices (Reopen recently closed tabs/windows or tabs/windows on other devices).

The latest version of Peek History is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 123 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-04-01.

HOW TO INSTALL Peek History FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Peek History CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
