SUMMARY

This extension can help you search for words in YouTube videos and jump directly to the respective timestamp in the video.

A button will appear above YouTube videos, and if you click it, you will get access to a search input.

There is an autosearch feature that enables you to set words to be searched on every page, which if found will trigger the extension to notify you (by changing the YWS button to green).

New in version 2.0: Non english videos are now supported.

The latest version of YouTube Word Searcher is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2022-07-26.

HOW TO INSTALL YouTube Word Searcher FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download YouTube Word Searcher CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
