SUMMARY

Makes time reading news on Yahoo News more efficient. Features: 1. Show Reasons: will display any filtering in the news feed if you want to track filtered content. 2. Filter Ads: will remove the ads from the news feed, but not the side columns. 3. Cache: enables caching. Will filter out previously read articles. Will also cache headlines displayed to remove duplicate news articles listed in the same session. 4. Category filtering: Allows you to filter news by category (e.g. Opinion, Health, etc.) 5. Feed filtering: Allows you to filter out specific news feed organizations you may not be interested in (e.g. Fox, CNN, etc.) 6. Topic/title filtering: Allows you to add a term you don't want to read about. If the news article contains a word or phrase you've added, that article will not be shown. Storage permission required to save your filter settings and for caching the URL of news articles you've read. Extension only works on Yahoo news sites. Any captured data is only saved on your local system and is NEVER shared with external parties.
