Rule of Thirds

SUMMARY

The is a simple extension to apply a 3 x 3 grid over any images found on a web page which are larger than 100px x 50px. The purpose of the grid is to help photographers visualise the Rule of Thirds. By displaying the grid over the image it is very simple to identify if a photograph's main focal points comply with the Rule of Thirds or not. The latest version of Rule of Thirds is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2014-08-29.

HOW TO INSTALL Rule of Thirds FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Rule of Thirds CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
