OneNote to Xournal++

SUMMARY

This addon converts OneNote or Sharepoint (experimental) notes to Xournal++ notes. This is useful if you want your notes saved offline in a format compatible with an open source app or you want to export a single page PDF of your notes from Xournal. There are a few steps that are required to get an optimal result: * Open the notes that you want to convert * Scroll the notes down to the bottom. This step is needed because OneNote loads images and strokes lazily, doing that you force it to download them all. * Scroll the notes up again. This is required because the script uses some position relative data to calculate the actual position of the elements. * Click the addon button on your Toolbar and click on "Export"... Once the page is converted the resulting file will be saved in your downloaded files.

The latest version of OneNote to Xournal++ is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 20 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-09-18.

HOW TO INSTALL OneNote to Xournal++ FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download OneNote to Xournal++ CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
