Learning Computing

SUMMARY

Learning Computing (www.learningcomputing.co.uk) is a website dedicated to teaching UK secondary school students about Computer Science. The website covers the new UK national curriculum for Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9. The site also includes content for those teaching or studying OCR GCSE Computing and OCR A-Level Computing (though at the moment this is only available to my students). The site is owned by Alistair Surrall (@surrall) CAS Master Teacher for Oxfordshire, Google Certified Individual and Head of Computing at CCC. The site is a work in progress so feel free to get in touch with suggestions! Please read the sites FAQ more information.

The latest version of Learning Computing is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 716 active users. The initial version was launched on 2017-07-29.

HOW TO INSTALL Learning Computing FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Learning Computing CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
