SUMMARY

Unofficial Proton Mail counter extension for chrome, refreshes the count every 15 minutes. Extension launches pinned proton tab for 5 seconds in background to get the unread count, this allows to get the unread count without any credentials needed for the extension itself. HOW TO INSTALL ProtonMailCounter FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download ProtonMailCounter CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
