SUMMARY

A utility to format (pretty print) HTML, XML, or CSS source code. Ideal if you want a quick way to tidy up your content for easier reading.

Just type or paste your source and see the formatted version appear in a separate panel. This utility attempts to auto-detect the format of your source content and format it appropriately. Your source is remembered so that when you open the extension again your source will still be available. A copy button allows you to copy your formatted content to the clipboard. You can Replace your source content with the formatted version with a button click. Paste and Append buttons allow you to paste into the source text area.

The latest version of Pretty HTML | CSS | XML is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 4,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-03-08.

HOW TO INSTALL Pretty HTML | CSS | XML FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Pretty HTML | CSS | XML CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
