RephraserAI is a Chrome extension that allows you to rephrase selected text using advanced AI models. This extension is open-source and can be run locally. You can use various AI services such as Gemini (default), OpenAI, Grok, Sambanova Cloud, and Mistral AI.

Usage

1. Select the text you want to rephrase.

- **OpenAI-Compatible API**: Use any OpenAI-compatible API by entering the base URL and API key.
- **Local Execution**: Run the extension locally using Ollama by setting the base URL to `http://localhost:11434/v1`.

HOW TO INSTALL RephraserAI FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download RephraserAI CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
