Rainy night

SUMMARY

The rain effect is live and looks very realistic. The app pulls rainy themed images from an imgur album that I add items to (you can change it to any imgur album, however!). Each time you open a new tab, a random image from the album will load (unless you're offline where a fallback will be used). Please submit new images for the imgur album through the issue tracker on Github! This app is very new, and there's lots of room for improvement! I am probably going to add support for local weather on the page, and conduct an analysis on caching data for faster load upon opening a page. The latest version of Rainy night is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2014-09-15.

HOW TO INSTALL Rainy night FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Rainy night CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
