SUMMARY

This extension allows you to control chrome with your keyboard. With the alreay knows hotkeys it is already possible to control most parts of chrome (ex. Enter new URL, go back, go forward) after pressing a certain, adjustable, hotkey this extension shows links hints (see screenshot) when the shown characters in the link hints are pressed the relevant link will be opend. with "meta" keys it is possible to open certain links in new tab, new window or in new incognito window.

The latest version of KeyboardMode is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 5 active users. The initial version was launched on 2014-08-19.

HOW TO INSTALL KeyboardMode FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download KeyboardMode CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
